Artichoke, more correctly known as globe artichoke, is a thistle-like plant grown for the edible blossom bud. It is one of only a few vegetable plants grown in North America as a perennial, with new growth arising from the roots annually.

The product is natural and undyed.

The flower heads are a rich, red-brown with hints of purple, and a warm yellow hue at the tips, and beige, bracken-like stems.

Please note that these Artichoke are a victim of their own magnificence, and so the weight of the head is, in some instances too much for the stems, and they may need additional support depending on how you intend to use them.
